Travel note

Mariette was inspired by the charming striped changing huts dotted amongst the Woodland surrounding the Plan d’Eau in Embrun, in the French Alps. Each little hut was painted in its own cheerful colour, peeking through the trees beside the lake and creating a scene full of warmth, nostalgia, and quiet joy. Their faded stripes and carefree character became the inspiration for this hand -painted piece.
