Inspired by the gentle colours and relaxed elegance of Provence, The Merciers are a beautifully restored pair of original solid pine bedside cabinets, lovingly refurbished and hand-painted in a timeless soft sage green in the Dilly Dally workshop.

With a generous drawer above and a spacious cupboard below, they offer plenty of storage while bringing a calm, collected feel to the bedroom. Their classic proportions and understated design make them equally at home beside a bed, framing a sofa or adding character to a hallway or reading nook.

Hand finished with care and fitted with traditional Antiques style knobs The Merciers are designed to compliment both period homes and contemporary interiors where craftsmanship and character are treasured.

The Dilly Dally story

Every piece of furniture at Dilly Dally has already lived a life before arriving at our Yorkshire workshop. We carefully seek out original furniture that has stood the test of time, choosing pieces for their quality, craftsmanship and enduring beauty.

The Merciers aren’t new, and we think that’s exactly what makes them special. Rather than replacing old furniture, we lovingly restore, preserving their history while giving them a fresh new chapter for another generation to enjoy.

Character and Authenticity

As with all Vintage furniture, The Merciers may still carry the occasional gentle reminder of their previous life. We believe the subtle signs of age are part of their story and never something to disguise. They are the details that make every Dilly Dally piece completely unique.
